Ribbed Beanie Free Crochet Pattern

Photo of a pink and blue striped crochet beanie draped over a balcony.

Hello Everyone!

Today I have a gently ribbed crochet beanie. This project is great for beginners since it only uses the half double crochet, front loop half double crochet, and back loop half double crochet. This can also be a fun quick project for experienced crocheters.

This project works up very quickly and can be great for stocking up crochet craft fair booths. It can also be great for last-minute gifts!

I personally designed this hat because I got a beautiful Roseto yarn from ice yarns, I will link to it in the supplies. You can also find the review for this yarn here https://crochetwithkim.com/Rosetoworsted-Review

I wanted a nice simple pattern with this beautiful yarn just to let the colors really create the interest. This is a crochet project that will really work up great with self-striping and variegated yarns.

Before we go

I hope you all enjoyed today’s pattern. It was a lot of fun for me to make, I loved watching the colors work up. Like I said above this would work great with any self-striping or variegated yarns. The simple texture also looks lovely with variegated yarns, or solid colored yarns as well.
