Sweetheart Dog Sweater Free Crochet Pattern

Small black and white dog wearing a crochet sweater. The sweater is white and pink and has a puff stitch heart in the center of the back.

Hello Everyone!

With it nearing the fall and winter months it seems like the perfect time to release a nice thick crochet dog sweater for keeping your little pups warm during the cold months.

This pattern was a lot of fun to work up, I loved watching the shape of the heart form on the back with each row I work. The puff stitches that make this pattern also makes for a nice thick sweater that will be extra warm for your little dogs.

My little dog Gizmo has a pretty rough time during the Minnesota winters so thick sweaters are a must-have for her and the difference for her is so noticeable. These thick collared sweaters keep her so much warmer, I have an easier thick crochet dog sweater that you can find here for small dogs as well.
