Seed Stitch Mittens Free Crochet Pattern

Hello Everyone!

It’s day 7 of our 10 days of giving crochet pattern blowout and I have another pair of mittens ready for you guys today! These mittens are made with a weight 5 yarn and beginner friendly stitches that make these mittens incredibly fast to work up, extra warm for cold winters, and great for people who want a relaxing pattern to work on.

For today’s charity we are going to talk about an organization called mittens for Detroit. This organization brings mittens to homeless and underprivileged individuals in the Detroit area. They accept both mittens and cash donations so you could also sell some mittens to raise some money for them if that would be your preferred way of donating. If you live in the area they are also frequently looking for volunteers to help sort and distribute the mittens they receive. They accept mittens for children, teens, and adults. Join their mission of warming hearts, 2 hands at a time. You can view their website and get more information here.

This pattern along with the other 9 patterns published this month will be available as a PDF on my Patreon for my $6 and up subscribers.

This post will contain affiliate links. This just means if you make a purchase using some of my links I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only link to items I personally use and would purchase again.

Before we go…

As always I hope you all enjoyed today’s pattern. These mittens work up super quickly, make a great item to donate, and a fantastic last minute holiday present. They also only use just over 1 100 gram ball of yarn so they’re awesome for using left over bits of yarn from larger projects.

Remember this pattern will be available as a PDF on my Patreon by the end of the month.
