Easy Peasy Reversible Cowl Free Crochet Pattern

Hello Everyone!

Hello Everyone! It’s day 8 of our 10 days of giving crochet pattern blowout! Only 2 more days left I’m so excited with the patterns that came out this year and always love working on these patterns. Today I have cowl to match a design I published a few days ago the Easy Peasy Reversible Beanie pattern. These are beginner friendly projects that use simple stitches, and work up quickly. They are also extra warm for people who live in cold areas.

As always during the 10 days of giving pattern blowout we talk about charities that you can donate your crochet projects to. Today we are going to talk about project gratitude. Project gratitude sends care packages to the military and first responders. These care packages can consist of many things but often include crochet, knit, or other handmade items. This can be a great charity to donate to with any of your crafts, handmade cards, blankets, wraps, hats, cowls, etc are all accepted and appreciated.

This pattern along with all others published during this month will be available as a PDF on my Patreon for my $6 and up tiers.

This post will contain affiliate links. This just means if you make a purchase using some of my links I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only link to products I have personally used and would purchase again.

This portion you will make 2 of one in each color.

Row 1- Work 71 foundation DC join to beginning (72) If you dont know foundation stitches you can chain 74 and dc in third ch from hook and each stitch across then join to beginning.

Rows 2-15- Ch 2, turn, work 1 DC in each stitch around. Join to beginning with slst.

Tie off. you can weave in ends or you can just tuck your ends inside when you join the 2 pieces together

Place your 2 parts together one inside the other and make sure your seams line up.

With gray or whatever color you would like to be your main color you will tie on next to the seam making sure you go through the top 2 loops of BOTH pieces.

Row 1- Ch 2, and DC in each stitch around going through the top 2 loops of both of your pieces.

Row 2- Ch 2, turn, alternate FPDC and BPDC in each stitch around. Join to beginning with slst.

Tie off. Weave in ends. You will do the same thing on the other side of your project so you have ribbing on both the top and the bottom.

Before we go…

As always I hope you all enjoyed today’s pattern. This was super quick to make, super easy, and super warm which is a huge plus when you live in Minnesota. You can do this with so many color combinations it has endless possibilities. You could also make it striped and use it as a way to use up your various scrap yarns. That could also be a way for you to donate this holiday season since you won’t need to buy extra yarn to make your project!

Remember this pattern will be available on my Patreon as a PDF for my $6 and up tiers.

If you enjoyed today’s pattern you can follow me on Facebook to see new patterns, and get the occasional blog/life news. If you make a project using one of my patterns you can join my Facebook group and show it off. I would absolutely love to see what you all make!

That’s all I got for you today, once again I hope you all enjoyed today’s pattern, and as always happy hooking!
