Ladder Pattern Cowl Free Crochet Pattern

Hello Everyone

Today is the final day of our 10 days of giving pattern blowout, and I’d like to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving! Today I have the matching cowl to yesterday’s hat pattern. This cowl has a super simple 2-row repeat with single crochet borders. I really enjoyed working on this cowl and watching the texture of it form, if you’ve been here long you know I absolutely LOVE making textured crochet items.

With this being the 10 days of giving pattern blowout I urge all my fellow crocheters to take an opportunity to use your craft to give. This time of year can be really difficult for a lot of people, and our crafts can really help them. Looking locally there are tons of places that accept crocheted items especially during the winter. Places to check can be local hospitals, women’s shelters, homeless shelters, churches, and you can ask around to see if any local businesses are doing hat drives, or anything else where they would accept items to give out to those who need them.
