Icicle Drop Stitch Ear Warmer Free Crochet Pattern

Hello Everyone!

It is now day 2 of my 10 days of giving pattern blowout! Today the pattern that’s releasing is the matching headband to the fingerless gloves that released yesterday. I would also like to mention that you can get the PDF version of every pattern released this month for $6 on my Patreon!

This project was a lot of fun for me because I love changing colors but hate weaving in ends. This project combines lots of color changes without the extra ends to weave in since you carry up the previous color.

I would like to take a moment to talk about why I do the 10 days of giving pattern blowout every year. Many people this time of year especially in the colder areas like Minnesota where I live people are freezing. The items we make can make a change in that, this year the focus is on gifts since I know financially many people are still not doing well but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t still think about ways to help people with your craft as well. Extra items you’ve made this year, extra items you have the time to make this year can be a huge help to people. Even using up your old scrap yarns to make some warm items can make a difference. If you have extra items or time to make some extra items please check your local churches, homeless shelters, schools, community centers, and women’s shelters to see why items they are in need of.

This post will contain affiliate links. This means if you make a purchase through some of my links I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only link to products I personally use and would purchase again.

Before we go…

As always I hope you all enjoyed today’s pattern. It was a lot of fun for me to make and it works up super quick so if you’re looking for some last minute stocking stuffers this pattern would be a great option. This looks great with any contrasting yarns, a black with a self striping yarn as the second color also makes a super cool effect!
