Bulky Alpine Ear Warmer Free Crochet Pattern

Women wearing a crochet headband with the alpine stitch going through the center of it.

Hello Everyone!

Today I’m bringing you a nice chunky ear warmer with the alpine stitch in the center. I recently stumbled across a huge yarn haul that has a whole lot of bulky weight yarns in it. I’ve never really used bulky yarns before and I’m super excited to work on projects testing it out and sharing that experience with all of you!

This crochet ear warmer was a lot of fun to make, it was a quick project that’s super soft and is going to be great for the winter. It has a pretty simple repeat as well making it a great project to relax and work on.

With how quickly this works up I think it would make a great stocking stuffer or last minute crochet Christmas gift. I feel like this would also be a good seller at craft fairs during the winter season as well.

Let’s get hooking!

Before we go…

As always I hope you all enjoyed todays pattern, I really loved making this one. I got to try out a new yarn with it, and watching the alpine pattern form just up the center was a lot of fun for me. How thick, soft, and warm this ear warmer ended up was an added plus for me as well.

  1. Hi! I love this pattern and appreciate you sharing it. I just wanted to check if the chain 1 and chain 2 count as stitches, the pattern didn’t mention anything. Thank you for your time!

    1. Hello the chains do not count as stitches in any of my patterns unless explicitly stated that they are! Sorry for any confusions I’m glad you enjoy the pattern and happy hooking!
