Crunch Time Men’s Crochet Hat Pattern

Man standing in front of a brick wall wearing a blue and black men's crochet hat. The hat is mainly blue and has a black brim.

Introduction

Hello Everyone! We’re here with only 2 days left of the 10 days of giving Thanksgiving pattern blowout. After today I’ll only have 2 more patterns for you then it’s back to my normal Friday posting.

For today though we will be working on a men’s crochet hat, that will also have a matching face warmer coming out tomorrow. (The face warmer pattern can now be found here https://crochetwithkim.com/Crunch-Time-Facewarmer)

This hat is done in a new stitch for Crochet With Kim and it’s called the crunch stitch. It’s a combination of half double crochet and slip stitch which makes a beautiful ribbing.

The brim is done with a combination of front post double crochet and normal crochet stitches then doubled up, making sure the hat is nice and warm.

Conclusion

I hope you all enjoyed today’s men’s crochet hat pattern if you did make sure you check back tomorrow to get the matching face warmer.

Also, if you liked today’s pattern please remember to sign up for my newsletter. The newsletter will be sent out every other week and will have news of upcoming patterns, tips and tricks, and free PDF copies of Crochet With Kim patterns.

The men’s crochet hat we made today works up pretty quickly and can be a great gift idea with the holidays quickly approaching.

With its unique texture, it would also be a good item to make in different colors for winter craft fair booths.

Another thing this pattern would be great for is donations. With the snow coming around homeless shelters, schools, and women’s shelters need crochet items now more than ever. However, even if you can’t make anything this year a look through your previous projects could seriously help someone stay warm.

Once again I hope you enjoyed today’s pattern, and as always happy hooking.
