Cozy Campfire Cowl Free Crochet Pattern For Beginners

Hello Everyone!

It’s already day 3 of our 10 days of giving crochet pattern blowout and today I’m bringing you the matching cowl to yesterday’s hat! This cowl makes fluffy Boucle yarn a breeze to work with, so easy it’s perfect for beginners.

This cowl works up in about an hour making it perfect for donating. You can bust a bunch of these out in a day and it only uses about a 100 gram ball of the yarn. This cowl can be a great project to donate to homeless shelters, hospitals, women’s shelters, and anywhere else in your local community tat needs warm items.

Supplies

1 Ball fleece lite or other weight 5 boucle yarn

9mm crochet hook

Scissors

Darning needle

Abbreviations

Ch- Chain

DC- Double crochet

Slst- Slip stitch

Notes

Gauge- 2 DC= 1 inch 1 DC row= 1 inch

All double crochets will be worked in between the posts from the previous row instead of into the top of the stitch.

Ch 40, join into circle with slst

Row 1- Ch 2, DC into each ch stitch around. Join to beginning with slst.

Rows 2 13- Ch 2, turn, work 1 DC in between the DC stitches from the previous row. Join to beginning with slst.

Tie off. Weave in ends.
