Hello Everyone!
It’s day 11 of the 12 days of Christmas and today we have a SUPER quick pattern. I know Christmas is tomorrow but believe it or not you have time to make a few of these before. This pattern uses beginner friendly stitches to make a lovely pattern that looks perfect in multicolored or solid colored yarns. It also uses a bulky yarn and large hook so it works up super quickly.

Supplies
6.5mm crochet hook
1 100 gram ball of bulky yarn. I used serenity chunky. If you prefer to order online Atlas from iceyarns would also be a great option.
Label. (Optional) I use labels from this set on amazon.
Scissors.
Darning needle.
Abbreviations
Ch- Chain
HDC- Half double crochet
Slst- Slip stitch.
DC- Double crochet
FPDC- Front post double crochet
BPDC- Back post double crochet
Messy Bun Hat Pattern
Row 1- Tie onto hairtie. Work 20 HDC around. Join to beginning with slst .
Row 2- Ch 1, turn, *HDC in the next stitch, slst in the next stitch* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.
Row 3- Ch 1, turn, *Work 1 HDC in the next stitch, 2 HDC in the next stitch* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst. (30)
Row 4- Ch 1, turn, *HDC in the next stitch, slst in the next stitch* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.
Row 5- Ch 1, turn, *Work 1 HDC in the next 2 stitches, 2 HDC in the next stitch.* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst (40)
Row 6- Ch 1, turn, *HDC in the next stitch, slst in the next stitch* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.
Row 7- Ch 1, turn *Work 1 HDC in the next 3 stitches, 2 HDC in the next stitch.* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst. (50)
Row 8- Ch 1, turn, *HDC in the next stitch, slst in the next stitch* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.
Row 9- Ch 1, turn, work 1 HDC in each stitch around. Join to beginning with slst.
Rows 10-14- Repeat rows 8-9
Row 15- Ch 2, DC in each stitch around. Join to beginning with slst.
Rows 16-19- Ch 2, turn, alternate FPDC and BPDC. Join to beginning with slst.
Tie off. Weave in ends. Sew on label.
