Hello Everyone!
It’s day 4 of the 12 days of Christmas pattern blowout and I’m bringing you another slouchy beanie! This one is made with a bulky yarn to make it faster, easier, and a big warmer perfect for winter and last minute gift making. This pattern can be worked up in an hour or 2 and uses less than a ball of yarn.

Supplies
5mm crochet hook
1 100 gram ball of a weight 5 yarn. 1 100 gram ball of a weight 5 yarn in color 2 for the band. I used 2 colors of atlas from iceyarns.
Scissors.
Darning needle.
Label. (optional). I use labels from this set on amazon.
Button for attaching pompom. I use buttons from this set on amazon.
Pompom. I use pompoms from this set on amazon.
Abbreviations
Ch- Chain
DC- Double crochet
FPDC- Front post double crochet
BPDC- Back post double crochet
HDC- Half double crochet
BLHDC- Back loop half double crochet
Slst- Slip stitch
Crochet Slouchy Beanie Pattern

Row 1- Work 47 foundation DC. Join to beginning (48 total)
Row 2-5- Ch 2, turn, alternate FPDC and BPDC around. Join to beginning with slst.
Tie off. Join color 2.
Row 6- Ch 1, turn, HDC in each stitch around. Join to beginning with slst.
Row 7- Ch 1, turn, BLHDC in each stitch around. Join to beginning with slst.
Rows 8-16- Repeat rows 6-7
Row 17- Ch 1, turn, *HDC in the next 4 stitches, HDC decrease.* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.
Row 18- Ch 1, turn, *BLHDC in the next 3 stitches, HDC decrease.* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.
Row 19- Ch 1, turn, *HDC in the next 2 stitches, HDC decrease.* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.
Row 20- Ch 1, turn, *HDC in the next stitch, HDC decrease.* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.
Row 21- Ch 1, turn, HDC decrease in each stitch around. Join to beginning with slst.
Tie off, cinch top shut, weave in ends.
Sew on button for pompom, sew on label.
