Tulip Hat Free Crochet Pattern

Hello Everyone!

Today is now day 9 of the 12 days of Christmas. We’re getting so close to Christmas and I’m getting giddy to give my handmade presents off to my friends and family. This crochet hat pattern uses the v puff stitch. Now if you’ve been keeping up with my 12 days of Christmas you’d know this is my second design that uses the v puff stitch, my other one is the tulip gardens hat. I learned it pretty recently and I love the texture it gives, especially for winter projects.

This project is great for the 12 days of Christmas pattern blowout because it works up quickly, and it has a unique combination of textures that really pops. The puff stitch used in it also makes it nice and thick great for those living in areas with harsher winters.

If you would like to see what PDF patterns I have available you can find them in my Ravelry shop. (If you know other crocheters some printable crochet patterns would also make an excellent holiday present!)

Before we go…

As always I hope you all enjoyed today’s pattern. I really enjoyed finding a new way to spice up the puff stitch. I love using textured stitches, I’m sure you may know that about me by now if you come here often. This hat works up quickly and looks great with a pompom on top, but you don’t need a pompom for this design if you don’t want one.

If you like the puff stitch you can view some more of my patterns that use like the tulip gardens hat, the puffs and valleys hat, puffs and valleys cowl, or the puffs and valleys beanie.
