Seed Stitch Work Flat Fingerless Gloves Free Crochet Pattern

Hello Everyone!

It’s day 5 of the 12 days of Christmas crochet pattern blowout and tomorrow is Christmas! For those of you who don’t celebrate Christmas I wish you a happy holiday, and for those who do Merry Christmas! Today we are doing another super quick and easy pattern for those of you who still haven’t finished your presents (me included). These fingerless gloves take an hour or less to work up, and are made in chunky yarn so they’re perfect for the abnormal cold many areas are dealing with right now.

If you want to see new patterns when they come out you can follow me on Facebook I’ve also been posting some small demonstration videos based on the patterns I’ve been publishing or will be publishing.

This pattern will be available as a PDF on my Patreon by the end of the month. For my $6 and up tiers you will also have access to all 10 patterns I published last month, and all 12 of the patterns that will be coming out this month.

Let’s get hooking!

Supplies

I used about a third of a ball of premier serenity chunky. Any weight 5 yarn will do though.

7mm crochet hook

Scissors

Darning needle

Abbreviations

Ch- Chain

Sc- Single crochet

DC- Double crochet

Notes

You can make these longer or shorter by just working more or less of the foundation stitches. Make sure you end with an odd number.

You can also make them fit wider or thinner hands by just working less rows.

Fingerless Gloves Crochet Pattern

Remember the PDF for this pattern will be available on my Patreon for my $6 and up tiers.

Row 1- *Foundation sc, Foundation DC* Repeat until you have 15 stitches

Row 2- Ch 2, turn, *DC in the next stitch, sc in the next stitch* Repeat * across.

Row 3- Ch 1, turn, *sc in the next stitch, DC in the next stitch** Repeat * across.

Rows 4-16- Repeat rows 2-3

Tie off leaving a long tail.

Using your shorter tail fold your project in half hotdog style and whip stitch the first 3 stitches together. Weave in ends to secure stitches.

Take your longer tail and weave it down 6 stitches. This means you will be sitting 3 stitches under where you sewed shut to. Leave those 3 stitches unsewed for the thumb space. Sew the rest of the glove together and weave in ends.

That’s it you can now wear or gift your fingerless gloves or make more!

Before we go…

As always I hope you all enjoyed today’s pattern it works up super quickly and I loved making them. Chunky yarn is a favorite of mine this time of year especially. These gloves also match yesterday’s cat ear beanie which also works up super quickly and is nice and warm for the cold winter.

Remember this pattern will be available as a PDF on my Patreon by the end of the month along with the other 11 patterns published this month along with the 10 patterns published last month.
