Ribbed Baby Cardigan Free Crochet Pattern

Hello Everyone!

It’s Friday again and I have another baby cardigan for you. This week I’m publishing my first summer baby cardigan since even up here in Minnesota its getting HOT out. The cardigan is even made in a light cotton yarn making it extra breathable and cool while still breaking the wind!

The pattern below will fit sizes 3-6 months, and as I get more sizes tested I will make this pattern available in my Ravelry shop with the other sizes available.

The stitch pattern for this is a simple 2 row repeat of beginner friendly stitches after you finish the yoke (which also uses beginner friendly stitches.) This pattern is great for beginners who are just stepping into the world of garment making, or for experienced crocheters just looking for a quick nd easy project.

Before we go…

As always I hope you all enjoyed today’s pattern, it was a lot of fun to make and the short sleeves were wonderful since I’m not a big fan of working the sleeves LOL. This little sweater is a nice quick baby cardigan with a simple repeat so you can easily watch a show or listen to a podcast and be done with this in no time.
