Beginners Ear Savers (2 Styles)

2 ear savers for masks sitting on a leafy background.

Hello Everyone!

Today I’m bringing you a super simple crochet ear saver that’s perfect for beginners. I live in Minnesota which has recently put in place a mask mandate inside buildings. Since that’s happened I’ve had many people asking me about making these little ear savers for them and their kids.

Those of you who also live in states with mask mandates, or have been wearing a mask this whole time may have also been wondering how to make these masks easier on their ears, and if so I hope this pattern helps you. This one is super simple, and I will be bringing you more patterns for ones to hold ponytails or single button ear savers, but for now, let’s start with the beginner-friendly options!

Before we go…

I hope you all enjoyed today’s pattern, it should work up in under a half hour making it something you can bust out a bunch of in a short amount of time. These can be a great project to donate to hospitals for the doctors and nurses, your favorite local stores for the employees who have to wear masks all day, or as a little gift to your friends and family.

Like I said in the beginning I will be making more of these in some different styles and with different stitches so if you would like more of a variety to work on check back on Fridays!
