Beach Days Bucket Hat Free Crochet Pattern

Hello Everyone!

Today I’m bringing you another bucket hat. Getting some quick and easy projects going to start this summer with. I also got sick again last week so I didn’t want to go photograph clothing, but that’s ok since I plan on bringing you plenty of clothing options to celebrate PRIDE with!

Supplies

3.5mm crochet hook

About 60 grams of a weight 3 yarn. I used Alara from ice yarns.

Scissors

Darning needle

Abbreviations

Ch- Chain

DC- Double crochet

SC- Single crochet

BLO- Back loop only

Slst- Slip stitch

Ch 3

Row 1- Work 10 DC in third ch from hook. Join to beginning with slst.

Row 2- Ch 2, turn, work 2 DC in each stitch around. Join to beginning with slst. (20)

Row 3- Ch 2, turn, *DC in the next stitch, 2 DC in the next stitch.* Repeat* around. Join to beginning with slst. (30)

Row 4- Ch 2, turn, *DC in the next 2 stitches, 2 DC in the next stitch.* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst. (40)

Row 5- Ch 2, turn, *DC in the next 3 stitches, 2 DC in the next stitch.* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst. (50)

Row 6- Ch 2, turn, *DC in the next 4 stitches, 2 DC in the next stitch.* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst. (60)

Row 7- Ch 2, turn, *DC in the next 5 stitches, 2 DC in the next stitch.* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst. (70)

Row 8- Ch 2, turn, *DC in the next 6 stitches, 2 DC in the next stitch.* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst. (80)

Row 9- Ch 2, turn, *DC in the next 7 stitches, 2 DC in the next stitch.* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst. (90)

Row 10- Ch 1, turn, *working in the BLO sc in the next stitch, DC in the next stitch* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.

Rows 11-21- Ch 1, turn, *sc in the next stitch, DC in the next stitch* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.

Row 22- Ch 2, turn, *DC in the next 5 stitches, 2 DC in the next stitch* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.

Row 23- Ch 2, turn, *DC in the next 6 stitches, 2 DC in the next stitch* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.

Row 24- Ch 2, turn, *DC in the next 7 stitches, 2 DC in the next stitch* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.

Row 25- Ch 2, turn, *DC in the next 8 stitches, 2 DC in the next stitch* Repeat * around. Join to beginning with slst.

Tie off. Weave in ends.
