Spider Headband Crochet Pattern

Women standing infront of a brick wall wearing a multi colored crochet headband. The headband is made using the spider stitch.

Hello everyone!

With spring coming to an end I’m bringing you the final spring crochet pattern of the year. This crochet pattern uses the crochet spider stitch which is a nice tightly crocheted textured stitch using single crochets and chain spaces. This crochet stitch is worked just like the crochet V-stitch, but instead of using double crochet stitches you use single crochet.

I love crochet headbands for the springtime. They help me keep my hair out of my face while I’m outside enjoying the vibrant colors coming back to life. They also help keep my ears warm on the crisper spring days and allow me to spend more time outside enjoying the day.

This pattern was a lot of fun to make and I absolutely love using textured crochet stitches with the fair isle yarn. It really makes the pattern of the yarn pop, however this texture will look great even with solid colored yarns.

Before we go…

As always I hope you all enjoyed today’s pattern, it was a lot of fun for me to make and I love using new textured stitches. Like I said earlier the textured stitches with this yarn turned out beautifully and I can’t wait to test more stitches out.

This crochet headband can make great crochet gifts, and it works up super quickly making it a good option for stocking crochet craft fair booths with. Textured stitches like this really pop with whatever yarn you choose making each headband come out super unique.
