Easy Pride Shawl Crochet Pattern

Hello Everyone!

As I’m sure most of you know already it’s the middle of Pride month and I always do at least one pattern for Pride! This month got a little hectic so I’m only going to have this one pattern ready to go but it’s perfect for summer, and super quick to work up.

This pattern uses the c2c technique for every part except the border. The c2c is something I recently learned and I am in LOVE with it. It makes such a light drapey fabric perfect for summer wearables just like this breezy shawl.

You can find some of my other PRIDE patterns here.

Let’s get hooking!

Darning needle for weaving in ends.

Scissors. I like the clover yarn cutter.

Abbreviations

DC- Double crochet

C2C- Corner to corner. This is the main stitch used, you can find a tutorial for it here .

Border

Ch 2, work 3 DC into the side of each DC stitch going around. Work 1 DC in the back loops of each ch stitch going down. You should be working 3 DC into the sides of each C2C row. You can also use HDC stitches if you would like a smaller border.

When you reach the bottom point ch 1, and repeat your border up the opposite side.

At the top of your second side tie off and weave in ends.

Weave in all your ends and your new summer shawl is ready to wear!

Before we go….

As always I hope you all enjoyed today’s pattern, it was a ton of fun for me to make. I love the C2C stitch it’s such a quick and simple stitch great for casual crocheting. Plus the bright colors are always fun to work with. This could be adjusted easily yo any of the PRIDE flags by adjusting the number of rows you work dependent on how many colors the flag has.
